Ghanaian Hip Hop & Afro Pop singer, Derrick Nii Adjei Kommey known in Showbiz industry as Baron Nii has opened up on his lifestyle & how he combined music and studies back then at All Nations University (Koforidua).
Baron Nii revealed that he was a hardworking student and a lover of music. He started writing music while in school and he used to perform at events and shows. He also used to stay up late to record his music and write songs. He also used to attend classes in the morning and then go to the studio to record his music in the evening.
He revealed that he was able to combine both music and studies successfully. He was able to balance his music career and studies because he was very discipline and he was able to manage his time well. He also said that he was able to stay focused on his studies and his music career.
The Shuperu hit maker said,
“I started my music career as a hobby and it was something I was passionate about and it was difficult to juggle my studies and music career, but I was able to manage my time and made it work. Also I was able to find a balance between my academic and musical life. I was able and apply the engineering principles I learnt & inculcated it into my music production process. I started my professional & commercial music exactly 4 years now. Although it hasn’t been easy but I thank God how He has brought me to this stage. Not forgetting my Alma mater, All Nations University has really equipped me a lot and am forever grateful.” Baron Nii said this on TV Africa’s breakfast live show on Wednesday.
Baron Nii’s hard work and dedication has paid off as he is currently one of the most promising young talents Ghanaians should be watching out. He is a Hip Hop & Afro Pop singer/rapper.
