Parliament has officially approved a custodial sentence ranging from 3 to 5 years for the intentional promotion, sponsorship or support of LGBTQ+ activities.
Individuals engaged in such actions would face imprisonment for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 3 years.

The Bill can now be passed into law as all concerns raised against the initial provisions appear to have been addressed.
