Hajia4Reall, a Ghanaian social media influencer and musician, was arrested in the UK on 11 November 2022 and later extradited to the United States, where she has admitted guilt to all charges brought against her.

The arrest took place soon after she participated in the 2022 Ghana Music Awards UK in London. It was reported during her arrest that Hajia4Reall was connected to an $8 million theft case in America

After a lengthy legal dispute lasting eighteen months, Hajia4Reall’s attorney has filed a request for leniency with the judge, seeking a three-month prison term followed by to Ghana.

The lawyer cited the influence of a fraud syndicate on Hajia4Reall and highlighted her responsibilities as a mother needing to care for her daughter in their plea for mercy.

Her plea is among a collection of letters and documents presented to the court, all appealing for leniency.

Haija 4real, also known as Mona Faiz Montrage, is potential imprisonment of up to 20 years if found guilty of defrauding elderly, single American individuals out of over GH20 million in a fraudulent scheme targeting those looking for love.

She has been charged with multiple offenses including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, money conspiracy, and money, all of which hold a maximum penalty of two decades behind bars.
