Inaki brother’s are believed to have agreed to represent Ghana at the senior level having played for Spain at the youth level.
Both players are eligible to play for the Black Stars through parental linage.
In recent times, Inaki had previously showed little interest in playing for Ghana by saying “I’m grateful to where I grew and became who I am. Ghana tried to convince me, but I was born in Spain, in Bilbao. I won’t ever forget my family roots, but I feel Basque and can’t con anyone. I would be comfortable with Ghana, I’m sure, but I shouldn’t be there,” the Atletico Bilbao record holder looks to have changed his thoughts months after his comments.the two players were heavily convinced by their parents to represent Ghana at international level.
Sources say,is very unlikely the pair will make the Spain squad for the World Cup in November, however they stand a big chance to play at the mundial should they finalize documentations to represent Ghana as the Ghana Football governing body take steps to ensure that is done.
