There is a fire outbreak at the new Kejetia Market in Kumasi.
The inferno gutted parts of the Ashanti Regional facility on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
The Kejetia market in Kumasi is currently on fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but the video emerging from the scene tells a sad story.
Almost all the major stores are on fire as thick smoke bellows high into the clouds.
The Kejetia Market has experienced several fires with most of the cause been linked to faulty electrical systems amongst others.
Officials from the Ghana National Service (GNFS) are at the scene doing their best to douse the fire.
It is yet unclear what triggered the outbreak…
