Over the weekend, VGMA nominees Jam made a grand return to Eastern Region’s capital Koforidua after 9 years and they met a reception of life. Event Organizers of Charter House & Vodafone Ghana Music Awards thrilled the fans & wonderful people of Koforidua & it’s suburbs one of the most improvements together with, performances, stage designs, lighting, sound, social buzz, nominations and a bunch of different elements.

The VGMA Experience Concert unraveled on Koforidua Jubilee Park at precisely 8pm and ended at 3am. The program was nicely executed, detailed, exact and concise with nearly non existent technical hitches.

PERFORMANCES

The show started with performances from budding talents from Eastern Region including Tee Rhyme, and a list of stars, hosted by King Kwaku Mensa.

Joyce Blessing adopted and also gave the fans an electrifying performance together with her group. Her efficiency was nicely deliberate and delivered soo wonderfully.

The atmosphere at the Jubilee park changed when they main acts, Fameye, Kelvynboy, Samini, Joyce Blessing, Dopenation, Kofi Kinaata, Medikal, Dope Nation took turns to perform.

Afrobeat badman, Kelvynboy also shook Koforidua with his massive performance and scored full marks along with his Afrobeat supply however was seen hopping from one place to the opposite.

The crowd went crazy when his hit song ‘Down Flat’ was played. They sang word to word and even tried to do the dance despite how crowded they were.

Rapper Amerado came with Ninja’s and shook the stage. Breathtaking performance as crowd fully engrossed themselves into the rapper’s flow especially as the “Abotre” hit song was performed.

However,Samini proved to the nation ones again that he still holds the forefront when it comes to live band music performance in Ghana.

MC for the night time, Giovani Caleb, as we all know him of his eloquence and dynamic role of satisfying the audience with his comics also entertained the people of Koforidua.

Kofi Kanaata and medikal also came as last performer’s and drove thousands of crowd at Jubilee park crazy

The 2022 edition of this mainstay of an event would go down as one of the best audience engagement witnessed. All credits goes out to Charter House,VGMA. As we always say, The People,The Music,The Culture. we hope the ultimate performances on the Grande day would be higher off.
