Netizens reacts over a tragic birthday party which was held inside a club in Gowon Estate in Lagos State, Nigeria, turned tragic as a police escort of the celebrant who tried to give a gun salute ended up shooting and killing the celebrant and another guest, while leaving others injured

According to Correctng.com, the incident occurred on Sunday, April 24.

It was purported that the celebrant and guests were on the floor dancing amidst the spraying of cash when the shooting incident took everyone by surprise.

A video of the tragicomic incident was captured in a video which has been making the rounds on social media and triggering angry reactions.

It is further reported that the said police officer might have been under the influence of alcohol and lost control of the gun.
