Derrick Nii Adjei Commey professionally known as Baron Nii, is a Ghanaian singer and rapper. Who hails from Nima in the Greater Accra Region, West Africa. The name NIMA has its etymology from the Ga Language which literally means the “city of the King”.

Baron Nii via the hustle and perseverance came out strongly with his strong urge and determination for music. Although his Christian roots/ ethics tried to hinder his progress and career pertaining to music.

Rap has been his passion right from his early days at Nima where he grew up at.
