A viral video circulating on social media pertaining to some policemen & civilians heavily exchanging words.
In the video, one of the civilians (name withheld) was giving an account of how the officers managed extort money from him after he helped them by directing them to their destination.

This goaded the civilians by fighting back the officers & seizing , uniforms, guns & handcuffs in order to avoid further harassment & punishment, one of the police officers was compelled to kneel down and pleaded profusely with the civilians to solve whatever issues they have amicably.
One couldn’t ascertain why these young officers in uniform had to go down on their knees to plead to these civilians. This has generated lots of controversies across social platforms and has gotten people demanding for answers why this shameful acts ought to happen.
This has also brought much speculation, tension and criticism & has raised major concerns about the integrity of our security services in the country.
Also an unconfirmed reports we also gathered indicates that, the civilian (name withheld) happens to be a notorious thief who’s on police wanted list at Axim, Western Region for some time now & also believed to be engaging in illegal mining which is popularly known as “Galamsey”
It’s believed that, the Axim security officials have been trying to use stratagem to arrest these notorious thieves. In one of the videos sighted online a young man was giving a vivid account of how it all transpired & reasons why the officers knelt down.

According to the young man who gave detailed and alleged information, he claimed that the video was released by the same gang after they had misunderstandings with the policemen of Axim.
Sources also divulges that, the police embarked on an illegal mission which resulted to this mayhem.
Nonetheless, it’s important to note that law enforcement officers are expected to act with professionalism, respect, and impartiality when interacting with civilians. Any instances of inappropriate behavior should be reported and investigated to ensure accountability and adherence to proper standards of conduct.
At the scene which is reportedly in the Western Region was a police minivan stuck in the mud.
