ANU-SRC ELECTION 2023: Bob-Dery Kelvin,Micheal Owusu & Goldman Manison, Emerges as Winners

The polls, which took place on April 14, 2023, saw Bob-Dery Kelvin, Micheal Owusu and Goldman Manison campaign reverberate with the student body due to its engagement and culturally significant message.

ANU-SRC PRESIDENTIAL RESULTS OBTAINED BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

Bob-Dery , who is now the newly elected SRC President, who ascribed his success to his maker and the entire student body of All Nations University.

The campaign theme,

“Eliminating Apprehension Now and Hoisting our aspirations for a better tomorrow”

Bringing the SRC to main campus and making sure that there’s equality when it comes to sharing of resources for both campus. The message resonated with the ANU student body, leading to the victory of Bob-Dery Kelvin.

The proclamation of the election results was marked by a prodigious show of forthrightness when the losing team,Bernard Kofi Ali, Peace Ahedor & Josephine Owusu hugged and congratulated the winners, Bob-Dery Kelvin,Michael Owusu and Manison Goldman

The display of maturity and unity showcased by the candidates was remarkable and it was clear that they had put their differences aside in order to work together for the greater good. The electorates applauded their display of fairness, as it is an important quality to uphold in student politics.

The election was held in two phases. The first phase was the nomination process during which the aspirants were required to present their manifesto to the electorate at the city campus.

This was followed by the second phase which was the actual voting process. Which were also held at two polling stations; both main and city campuses respectively.

The elections also witnessed the emergence of other winners in various positions, Amponsem Eleanor and Mary Ekowbo as Women’s Commissioner,Madugu Daniel Kofi as SRC general secretary, Doreen Nyakortey as External Affairs,Patrick Edem Atakpli as Financial controller, Akosua Arthur Gyaduah & Quaicoe Prophet Arizie as BASA(Business Administration Association) President, Timothy Armah otabil & Frederick Yaw sarfo as EHASSA President and vice, Damptey Foster Asiedu as SRC Organizer.


The ANU-SRC elections of 2023 was a major success for the students of ANU as it showed that the students were ready to accept the change and were willing to give & exercise their franchise by voting for their preferred candidate.

The victory of the Dery as SRC president also showed that the electorates were willing to accept different proposals and ideas.

The election results were a clear indication of the students’ trust in Bob-Dery Kelvin and his promises. The ANU-SRC election of 2023 was a success and the students of the ANU are looking forward to Team Bob Dery’s leadership.

The election was a success and it was widely praised by the student body for its fairness and transparency. It also highlighted the importance of active participation in the electoral process and the role of the ANU Electoral Commission Chairman in ensuring a fair and democratic election.
